We very much hope that you will be able to join us for our Annual Conference which this year will be held in London. As always we will do our best to support your attendance. If you are currently unwell or have special needs we will be very happy to help. If you are struggling financially, grants are available. These can help to cover some of your transport costs. The conference is free of charge, including refreshments throughout the day and lunch. 

We are planning a full day and we are sure that everyone will find something of interest.

The deadline for booking conference  places is Wednesday 26th September 2018. 

Please bear in mind that train, coach and air fares may be significantly cheaper if booked in advance.

We are happy to cater for whatever needs you may have. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or access needs by emailing If you are currently unwell please let us know how we can make arrangements to help you attend.

Conference Location

The Royal Brompton Hospital 


Car - There is no patient or public parking at Royal Brompton Hospital other than very limited pickup and drop off area at Sydney Street. There is metered, on-street parking but in central London, street parking is very limited and not guaranteed. There is a public car park three minutes' walk away on Sydney Street, near King's Road and managed by CP Plus Parking.

Bus -  The services below serve the hospital. You can use TfL's journey planner, live bus arrivals and bus route maps online services to help plan your journey.

Numbers 14, 211, 345 and 414 stop outside the Fulham wing on Fulham Road.

Numbers 49 and 211 stop in Sydney Street for the main reception.

Numbers 11, 19, 22, 211, 49 and 319 serve the King's Road.

Tube/Train - The hospital is a five-to-ten-minute walk from South Kensington station, which is on the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines. Transport for London's tube map may help in planning your journey, please visit 

London Accommodation (for those who need to stay overnight to be able to attend the event):

There is a large range of overnight accommodation close to where the conference is taking place. We recommend that you visit for more information. 


Grants are available in advance to help those struggling financially to attend. If you are living on benefits, working but on a low income, or have serious financial problems you should be eligible for a grant. 
• Financial support grant - For those on low wages, benefits or facing financial hardship. Let us know your circumstances and we will do our best to help.
• Travel Support Grant - in addition to the above grant, we may be able to help new attendees to travel to the conference.
