Scar camouflage?

Within the 'GUCH world' there is a mixed opinion about skin camouflage. Some patients try to hide their scars however many are proud of them and view them as tangible evidence that they have survived their surgery.

We really want to know what do you think? Of course this isn't a fully scientific survey, however we hope that it will provide a snapshot and help us to ensure that the services that we provide are based upon patients' needs.

As always we'd welcome more detailed feedback, contact us on admin@thesf.org.uk. or share your thoughts on our messageboard

Anne Crump (our mental health support worker) should be very happy to discuss issues about identity, appearance and self esteem, contact Anne on  anne@thesf.org.uk
