Life with Congenital Heart Disease requires joined up care

We have been working with partner organisations, the British Heart Foundation, the Children's Heart Federation, Tiny Tickers and Little Hearts Matter, to raise awareness of Congenital Heart Disease in Parliament.

As part of this process the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Heart Disease are holding a meeting specifically focused on Congenital Heart Disease on Tuesday 20th November 2012. We would very much welcome your support in trying to ensure that as many MPs as possible attend.

Please forward this invitation to your local MP and encourage him or her to attend.

You can find the email address of your MP by searching on http://findyourmp.parliament.uk/

Enter your home postcode and click ‘Find MP’, then click the name of your MP to reveal their contact details.

It does not matter if someone else has already sent them an invitation; in fact the more invitations that they receive the better, as this will help to show the importance of Congenital Heart Disease. We have found in the past that MPs can have considerable flexibility at short notice, so it is often better to request their attendance close to an event rather than a long time in advance.

Many thanks for your support.
