There are over 1.8 million adults in Europe with congenital heart disease (CHD). In the UK it is estimated 250,000 adults have some form of congenital heart disease. Has your life been affected by it? If so, this day is for you.
You are invited to attend the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust annual patient conference. The day will include a series of talks given by their consultant cardiologists. Designed to be informative and educational, it gives you the opportunity to ask questions (or just listen if you prefer) and be around like-minded people who understand the challenges of living with congenital heart disease.

- Dr Rafa Alonso, Consultant Cardiologist – Endocarditis in CHD
- Dr Lorna Swan, Consultant Cardiologist – Heart failure in CHD
- Dr Konstantinos Dimopoulos, Consultant Cardiologist – Exercise in CHD
- Nicos Nicolaou, Clinical Nurse Specialist – Living with CHD: the psychological challenges

The level 2 seminar room is located in the Sydney Wing. Turn right at main reception. Ahead on the left-hand side is the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity desk; enter through the door which is on the left, just after the white desk. Go through the first door on your right, which is the seminar room.

Light refreshments will be served during the day. If you have any specific dietary requirements please inform the staff when booking your space.
