James is running to fundraise for us!
James Smith took on the 13.1 mile run around the River Exe and Exeter Canal to raise funds for The Somerville Foundation, helping us to support patients born with a heart condition (congenital), providing practical and emotional support, and enabling them to take control of their lives and manage their own heart condition.

Overall James raised an astounding £646.56!
James has told us he has chosen to support us because, "In early October, my girlfriend underwent open heart surgery to treat an atrial septal defect. During her operation and in the lead up to this, she worked closely with the GUCH team. I saw first hand how wonderful the work they carry out is and the impact that their work has. As a result, I would like to raise money to help fund this fantastic service."
