Supporting Ourselves: Building Resilience and Connection (Plymouth)

Saturday 15 September 2018

The Copthorne Hotel Plymouth

Emotional resilience is the ability to deal with the tough times in life, to cope and recover from adversity, trauma and stress. It’s what helps us to keep going, bounce back and adapt whether from setbacks or permanent changes in our life or health.

Join Anne Crump and Beth Greenaway to explore the different ways we can support ourselves through the ups and downs of life living with a congenital heart condition. There will be a mixture of practical exercises and discussion. The workshop will provide an opportunity to:

  • discuss how we can build on the ways we have of coping with adversity
  • take part in practical exercises focused on self care
  • share experiences and connect with others born with a heart condition who live in the South West

Timing: 1.30 - 4.30pm (registration from 1.15pm) Tea and coffee will be served mid afternoon.

Venue: The Copthorne Hotel Armada Way, Plymouth PL1 1AR

Travel: The nearest station to the Copthorne Hotel is Plymouth, approximately a 10 minute walk away. If parking at the hotel please use postcode ‘PL1 1LE’ for easiest access.
