Introduction to Mindfulness Birmingham

In this  workshop we will explore how mindfulness can support people born with a heart condition in their daily lives. Mindfulness has been shown to be beneficial in helping people living with a long term condition, as well as those experiencing anxiety, recurrent depression, pain and other uncomfortable physical symptoms.

The workshop will provide an opportunity to:

  • find out more about mindfulness and how it might be helpful
  • practice some short mindfulness meditations
  • share experiences with others born with a heart condition
Workshop places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. There is a sliding scale of fees to help cover the cost. The workshop is free for anyone who is receiving benefits or is low waged. Tickets can be booked through Eventbrite.

Travel: the nearest station is Snow Hill which is around the corner, Birmingham New Street Station is 15-20 minutes walk away. There is a NCP car park connected to the hotel.
