A Scottish Gathering

Saturday 24 March 2018

The Dewars Centre, Glover Street, Perth PH2 0TH

11.30 (registration from 11am) to 4.30pm

The Somerville Foundation is holding a day event in Perth to bring people born with a heart condition together from across Scotland. It would be lovely if you were able to join us on the day to meet up and share experiences with others living in Scotland with congenital heart disease (CHD).

There will be an update on the work of the Somerville Foundation and care for people with CHD in Scotland. As well as presentations and information on how we can support our emotional health.

Find out about the Somerville Foundation’s Scottish Meet Up Social Group and meet the organisers Vicki Hendry and Mike Hocking.

See the Scarred FOR Life photographic exhibition of adults born with congenital heart disease baring their scars in celebration of life. This innovative project was developed in Scotland by volunteers on behalf of The Somerville Foundation – Liza Morton, Jenny Kumar and Caroline Wilson.

Lunch will be provided.

Places can be booked via Eventbrite.

As the cost of holding the event is over £57.00 per head, we ask for a small contribution of £10.00 per head (plus £1.17 fees) towards this. We appreciate that for some people the contribution might be a struggle. Should you find yourself in this position, please contact the office by phone on 01473 252007 or email admin@thesf.org.uk to apply for a grant to help you attend.
